Site of the Visitor's Center for the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve. It provides history, nature trails, observation decks, scenic overlooks, and docks. Dolphins can many times be seen swimming in the brackish river waters. Ranger-guided Saltmarsh program includes a demonstration of seine net fishing.

Junior Ranger activity booklets are now available for kids ages 4-7 and 8-12. Kids who complete the activity booklet will earn a Junior Ranger badge. Estimate 30-40 minutes per site for kids activities.
