Housed in the historic Nassau County jail, the Amelia Island Museum of History showcases the island’s 4,000 years of Florida history.
The Museum offers modern exhibits, educational lectures, historic walking tours, ghost tours, and Elderhostel programs. As the first spoken history museum in the state of Florida, they continue the story-telling tradition through twice daily docent-led tours.
