Students will explore a variety of mediums and techniques to encourage art appreciation and critical thinking, as well as allow students to experiment with their own creativity.

MIXED MEDIA MAGIC
June 10 - 14 | 9am - Noon
Ages 6 - 10 & 11 - 14. 
At the St. Augustine Art Association
This summer, we’re making magic! Explore the art and alchemy of mixed media through combining traditional and experimental art materials. Play with texture, color and composition through one and two-dimensional collage. By the end of the week, you’ll have a new creative skill-set that is sure to spellbound! 

SKETCHBOOK STUDIO
June 17 - 21 | 9am - Noon
Ages 6-10 & 11- 14.
At the St. Augustine Art AssociationGrab your sketchbooks — it’s time to draw! Join us as we explore fun and creative drawing techniques and learn the basics. Through line, form, and texture we’ll realize the wonders an artist can create with a simple pencil! Learning about the color wheel and rule of 3s grid will add dimensions of color, value and composition to make our drawings come alive and pull a viewer in! Together, we’ll unlock the secrets to drawing with confidence — and you’ll go home, ready to continue your creative journey, with your very own sketchbook!

LIGHTS, CAMERA, CLICK!
June 24 - 28 | 9am - Noon
Ages 11 - 14.
Don’t just take photos — learn to make photos! This week, we’re exploring the world around us through a camera lens. Learn about the basics of photography and practice the full process — from arranging scenes to creating a compelling composition. With hands-on experience and field trips through Historic Downtown, you’ll learn how to capture meaningful moments with friends. Together, we’ll discover the different ways to take your favorite photos from the week and transform them into a physical creation!

REGISTRATION
$175 per session - includes supplies.

Discounts applied at registration for multiple children and/or sessions.

Students should bring their own snacks and drinks.
