Field trips are self-guided, but you are encouraged to attend keeper talks and schedule an education program to maximize the resources available.
IMPORTANT! All reservations must be made at least two weeks in advanced.
In order to receive discounted rates, teachers must collect everyone's money in advanced and make one payment at the front gate with a school check or credit card. If anyone pays on their own, they will be charged the full rates.
The Outreach Program will bring the zoo to you. Every program includes a variety of animals and artifacts that provide for hands-on learning.
SEASONAL WARNING! March, April & May are the busiest months for school visits. Nearly 50,000 or 50% of annual field trip attendance occurs during these spring months, and their programming schedule fills to capacity.
