Summer Sailing & Maritime History Program for children from the ages of 6-15.
Junior Sailing Program:
Children will learn all the wonders of maritime history combined with the art of sailing. Safety, weather, wind directions, navigation, maritime communication, boat styles and rigging, marine ecology, as well as the “how’s” and “how not to’s” for safe sailing. Visit the website for details.
Advanced Racing Clinic:
The Club 420 is a wonderful two man boat that is great for teaching older kids and more advanced skills in sailing. It teaches how to work together as a team. These boats are used in college sailing teams and are a stepping stone to the Olympic class 470. Whether you want to increase your sailing skills or start the road to racing, this is the boat for you. Clinics will be held for Optimist Prams and big boats as well. Ages 11-14. Saturday and/or Sunday starting in May 2016.
