Volunteers needed to be buddies for individuals with disabilities during camps.
DOSA Camps, a Division of the Ministry for Persons with Disabilities of the Diocese of St. Augustine sponsors Camp I Am Special, Camp Promise, and Camp Care which are five-day recreational and residential summer camps for children, teenagers, and young adults with disabilities.
DOSA's completely volunteer buddy staff is made up of high school and college students who selflessly give of their time to serve as a buddy for the entire camp session. Each buddy is responsible for one and only one camper during the week.
Buddies are expected to be selfless, dedicated, compassionate, energetic, and FUN.
