Work closely with our wildlife specialists to learn about the daily care of our various endangered species. Assist in feeding, husbandry and general care. Participate in and learn how to develop enrichment activities for the animals.

Summer camp at White Oak is an adventure like no other, providing campers a one-of-a-kind experience that lasts a lifetime. Each camp is unique and designed specifically for each age range. Camps can vary depending on weather, special animal opportunities, and more.

Explore conservation issues facing wildlife in their natural habitats and ways to help

Meet wildlife specialists and veterinarians to learn and help care for our animals

Learn from specialists about how we study and care for our native species at White Oak and learn about our local ecosystem and land stewardship

Develop friendships and memories that will last a lifetime while joining the White Oak family

And of course, campers also get to participate in classic camp activities!

Caretaker Camp costs $1,200 to attend. There is a $500 deposit required and a payment plan option for the remainder of the tuition cost. The cost includes all meals, lodging, curriculum and activities as well as a camp T-shirt and buff.
