Villages Football Association offers football and cheerleading to all youth between the ages of 5 and 15 in the Northwest St Johns County area.
Villages Football and Cheer Association welcomes all World Golf Village and surrounding area youth boys and girls to participate in tackle and flag football, and football/competitive cheer from ages 5-15.
Villages Football Association (VFA) is a member of the St. Johns River Youth Football Conference, a United Youth Football affiliate. United Youth Football (www.unitedyfl.com) is a travel competive football program. Teams play approximately half of their games on the home field and half of their games against other United Youth Football programs in St. Johns, Clay and Duval Counties.
Cheer Squads participate at home and away game day events as well as compete against fellow conference associations at our annual conference cheer competition. The top squads advance to
regional/national competitions.
VFA offers four age groups for flag football provided registration numbers are high enough to support all four divisions. Flag Football practices begin in December and the season begins in January. Each team will play eight games. Playoffs begin in March.
