Spring River School

Full Description

Spring River School is a unique, hybrid school program supporting families who have chosen home education. This school offers hands-on, fun, creative programming that is inspired by Waldorf Education, meeting each family with warmth and joy.  Our students learn by doing - engaging the head, hands and heart - while working and playing alongside their teachers for traditional academic subjects as well as enrichment classes.  

They offer 2 and 4 day options for thei Main Lessons (core academic subjects blended with art/handwork, music and storytelling) and 1, 2, 3 and 4 day options for enrichment classes. Their classes are designed to engage the student’s curiosity and imagination and spark a life-long love of learning in a fun, supportive environment. Programming is available for students in grades 1-8.  

Outside of Spring River School, parents may homeschool their children in any manner of their choosing. Fellow parents and teachers are available to provide inspiration and ideas that blend well with the program.

During the summer months, Spring River offers a one-of-a-kind summer camp program nourishing the child's inherant connection to nature, community and sense of wonder.
