The NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center offers free Virtual Field Trips and activities, including a live presentation, a question & answer session, and a hands on activity using items found at home or in a classroom.
NASA offers STEM activities conducted live and led by the Visitor Center Informal Education Specialist. Students can interact with the presenter during a live presentation and question & answer session, and then will complete a hands on activity using items commonly found around the home or classroom. Virtual field trips may be hosted by the Visitor Center on Microsoft Teams, or student groups may host the program on a virtual platform of their choosing.
Virtual Field Trips and programs are available for free to non-profit organizations, public or private schools, educational institutions, homeschool groups, or civic groups. Minimum of 15 students in selected age group/grade.
