MOSH Winter Discovery Camps

Full Description

The Museum of Science & History’s (MOSH) Winter Discovery Camps are here! Campers in grades K – 5 will experience science and history in ways that will ignite their curiosity. Themed MOSH Winter Discovery Camps are offered the following days:

December 30, 2024
Theme: Mastermind Inventors 
Gear up for a day of technological fun! Young innovators can explore the thrilling world of engineering by creating and crafting their way through challenges that ignite their passion for STEM. 

December 31, 2024
Theme: AstroExplorers
Launch into the new year with MOSH! Grab your spacesuit and embrace your inner astronaut as we blast off into intergalactic adventures. Together, we’ll explore the stars and discover what it takes to get there. 

January 2, 2025
Theme: Into the Deep 
Don’t get washed away this winter! Come join us as we dive into the science that keeps our oceans flowing. Explore local marine life as we learn about the deep blue sea right off our shores.  

January 3, 2025
Theme: Sunshine Safari
Rise and shine! Become a junior naturalist and learn about the plants and animals that call the sunshine state home. Grab your field guides, put on your sunscreen, and come get an up-close look at our backyard neighbors.  

January 6, 2025
Theme: Museum Detectives
Whodunit? Don your detective cap and use forensic investigation techniques to explore mysteries in the museum. Work with other aspiring sleuths to solve problems in a day filled with intrigue and discovery! 

Cost: $60 per camper per day. $17 day for extended care.

General Information

Campers bring their own morning snack and lunch, and extended care snack; MOSH does not provide food.

Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:45 AM for morning care and picked up no later than 3:30 PM at no additional charge.

Extended care is available for $17 per day. Campers registered for Extended Care may be dropped off as early as 8 AM and picked up as late as 5 PM

Campers have a half hour recess at least once per day.
