Full Description

Horse Sense & Sensitivity is a non-profit agency providing therapeutic riding lessons in group and individual formats to special needs individuals. Riders come to Horse Sense facing a variety of challenges including Down sydrome, autism, visual impairment, physical and mental developmental delay, anxiety, etc.  Because a horses’s gait mimics many of the same muscle movements as a human gait, therapeutic riding provides the opportunity to improve multiple things simultaneously including balance, strength, and coordination.
