Designed for young explorers, this immersive camp offers a unique opportunity to delve into the diverse ecosystems of our coastal reserve. Through engaging activities, hands-on experiences, and expert-led adventures, campers will forge a deeper connection with the estuarine environment.

In addition to this engaging program, we’re excited to introduce a unique cultural exchange element by partnering with Camp America. Our team of activity counselors hail from all corners of the globe, bringing diverse perspectives and enriching experiences to our campers. Through this collaboration, campers will not only discover the beauty of the local ecosystems but also learn about different cultures and traditions from around the world.

From discovering marine life to exploring coastal trails, Adventures in the Estuary fosters a love for nature while imparting valuable knowledge about estuarine ecology and conservation. Join us for a summer filled with discovery, friendship, and a sense of wonder as we embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of our coastal ecosystems.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Interactive lesson plans and activities focused on conservation and our estuary
• Conservation games and activities
• Live interactions with our animal ambassadors
• Estuary, ocean, and forest themed activities
• Trail hikes focusing on animals and the cultural history of Guana Peninsula
• Guest speakers featuring scientists, conservationists, and community organizations
• Digital detox! No cell phones allowed (phones will be collected at drop off and returned at pick up)
• Campers will also enjoy fishing, kayaking, archery, environmental themed arts & crafts, hiking, and time at the beach with a certified lifeguard!

Cost: $350/week
