CampAbility Special Day Camp: Youth Camp provides a recreational and life skills summer program to youth with disabilities in a fun and safe environment. We recognize our youth are at a point in their lives when it’s critical they learn life skills as they get ready to transition into adulthood.

CampAbility Youth Day Camp is for grades 6-12 (at this time, this does not include those who deferred and still attend school after 12th grade.) The Camp’s mission is to provide a recreational and life skills summer program to youth with disabilities in a fun and safe environment. They recognize our youth are at a point in their lives when it’s critical they learn life skills as they get ready to transition into adulthood. Life skills should be worked on throughout middle & high school.

We combine activities of daily living with fun & creativity. They help campers continue learning throughout the summer and expand on their skills like math, social studies, science, reading, & writing – all through our life activities. Their activities include cooking, wacky science experiments, music, projects, acting/role playing, etc.

There will be multiple trips into the community to learn how to shop, express preferences, self-advocate, socially interact with others, manage money, and more…all while having a great time (they won’t even realize it’s work!)

**Please note that those attending this camp should be able to participate in the community outings.**

They are not able to provide 1:1 support. However, if you would like to talk with someone to see if this camp is a good fit, call us at 904-494-8583.

They offer 6 sessions (session= Monday – Friday) throughout the summer. Campers can attend one session or multiple – you let them  know when you register!

Cost: MVP (youth with a disability) Rate: $190/session or $55/day

*Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Due to the limited scholarships, this is on a first come first served basis. Request a scholarship application at info@abilitytreefc.org
