The Southeast Branch of the St. Johns County Public Library hosts a Women's Self Defense Course for ages 13 and up. This course is taught by W.A.V.E., Women Against Violent Encounters, and is focused on teaching participants basic self-defense techniques to respond to potential threats. You will receive one on one training and practice with an all-woman team composed of St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, St. Augustine Police Department, and St. Augustine Beach Police Department instructors.
