Full Description

The Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens hosts their annual Spooktacular event.  Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in their family-friendly costumes to enjoy the winding pathways of themed decorations. There will be activities for all ages from trick-or-treating to scare zones, music, entertainment, and photo-ops.  This is a separately ticketed night event and is not included with regular admission.  Animals will not be visible during this event, as they go to bed before dusk. Tickets start at $25 each, with discounts for members.  Ages 2 and under are free.

Search the Gardens for treat stations scattered from the main entrance to Play Park. Plus, for those brave enough, the Forest of Frights awaits. This thrilling scare zone guarantees chilling surprises around every corner, recommended for ages 13+.  For groups that have a mix of those that enjoy scares and those that don't, purchase a Scaredy Cat necklace for $4.65 so the monsters are less likely to engage with those wearing it.

Interested in going to the Zoo beforehand? Purchase a combo ticket that includes same-day access to the park, arrive between 3pm and 4pm and stay through the end of Spooktacular.
