Piano Basics For You and Your Child

In this class, students and parents will learn how to read music as well as play notes on a digital piano. Instructors will use three free websites that will allow you to practice your new skills after the class. Upon completion of this course, you will have a basic understanding of the principals of playing notes on a digital piano.  The Parent Academy of Duval County Public Schools is a free family resource that promotes parental involvement, enhances student achievement, and supports a caregiver's need for personal and individual growth.
