Full Description

Twice a month, Celestial Farms offers a unique opportunity for the community’s homeschool families, co-ops, and groups.   Families are invited for nature-based activities as a supplement to your at-home curriculum or unit studies.  Each homeschool day will offer a chance to spend time outdoors among nature, and teach a skill or impart some knowledge as it relates to living in harmony with nature, sustainability and eco-consciousness, farm life, animal care, science (including botany, ecology, and biology), etc.

Pack a picnic, explore the farm, play in the mud kitchen/kids’ garden, and visit with the farm animal friends. Each paid admission includes a bag of feed for the animals and a tractor ride.  Attendees are highly encouraged to pre-purchase admission tickets online. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed.

Homeschool Days are not a drop off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Homeschool Days are open to anyone and all ages. Homeschool Day admission applies in order to participate in the scheduled activities. Homeschool Day participants will be given a wristband at the gate. Only those with a wristband may participate in the scheduled activities.  Admission is $10 per participating child, $5 per adult.
