This is a Lifeguard Certification Course to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services personnel take over. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. The cost of the course is $225.
This is a Blended Learning course, combining online learning with the in-person classroom/swimming pool skills course. After registering, participants will be contacted by Safety First with their online course link to complete it prior to the start of in-person course.
