Kick off the celebration of the 85th anniversary of Florida State Parks.  wo guided hikes will highlight the history of the park.  The 10am hike travels along a 1.8-mile paved loop trail, and is stroller and wheelchair friendly.  The 1:30pm hike will be slightly more challenging, taking participants through the ravine system over historic stone steps and along narrow dirt trails.  From 11am to 1:30pm, explore the timeline exhibit and learn about park history. Kids can try their hand at landscape architecture at the Richard Forester Design Station.  Participants in the photo scavenger hunt will have two hours to find 20 locations throughout the park and photograph them.  The Hillbilly Snack Shack Food Truck will be onsite from 11am to 1pm.  Event is free with park entry.
