Animal Care and Protective Services hosts Dogs Around Duval, a foster for a day program for those who would like a dog for the day but aren't able to, due to housing restrictions, work schedule, or family obligations.  Stop by the shelter, let them know what you have planned for the day, and they will help pick the perfect pet to accompany you.
