Registration is now open for Flag Football with Christ the King Athletic Academy. Early registration closes on September 2 and regular registration closes November 4. Practices will begin on November 13, with the season opener scheduled for December 16. The organization will host several free flag football clinics for players who are interested in learning more about the sport and practicing their skills before the season begins. No experience is required to play. Registration fees are $150.
Players will be required to have a mouth guard, and shorts with no pockets. Cleats are recommended, but not required. No metal spikes are allowed; only rubber cleats permitted.
The mission of CKAA is to develop youth through sports; both on the field and off, by focusing on fundamentals, sportsmanship, great coaching and the right way to handle competition that will last a lifetime. They focus on player development, community, fundamentals, and sportsmanship.
