Benefit Concert with Uncle Gerry
Jax Music Together will host a concert for young children (birth–age 8) and their families. The concert will feature Jax Music Together staff and teachers singing favorite Music Together songs, and a special guest appearance by recording artist Gerry Dignan. Admission is free, however, there is a suggested donation of $10 per family. Concert proceeds will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project was founded in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As the veterans' post-service needs evolved, so have the programs and services Wounded Warriors provides.
