Athletic Trainers & Sports Medicine in Our Schools

Full Description

A certified Athletic Trainer (AT) is a licensed health care provider. Through Project 17, schools now have one in each of the DCPS high schools with sports programs. ATs work with a volunteer team physician, coaches, athletes, and parents. ATs help prevent, treat, rehabilitate, protect, advocate, and more to safely return athletes to peak performance. Learn more in this very informative session.  The Parent Academy of Duval County Public Schools is a free family resource designed for parents, caregivers, and community members.
