For the first time in history of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will have a female ringmaster and, she’s from our home state!  Tallahassee native and FSU grad, Kristen Michelle Wilson will make history when she steps into the ring on January 12, 2017 at the Amway Center in Orlando where Kristen auditioned and beat out 100 hopefuls who auditioned across the country.

Kristen takes the reins from Pensacola native David Shipman.  You can see her at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena from January 19 – 22, 2017 when Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Circus XTREME.  Tickets are on sale now through ticketmaster.com, the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena Box Office or by calling 1-800-345-7000.

Save $5 when ordering tickets by using the code J4K17.

Look for your copy of the January issue of Jax4Kids’ newspaper, on newsstands December 26th and learn more about the first ringmaster in the 146 year history of the Ringling Bros. Circus.  Congratulations to Kristen on earning  this history making moment for women!
