Jacksonville Beach Moonlight Movies

Join a park ranger and learn about the lifecycle of the sea turtle and the importance of these creatures. The program will take place at the multi-use trail pavilion located at the south beach area on Little Talbot Island. No reservations are necessary and the program is free with regular park admission.

Scrapbooking for Teens

Your scrapbook tells the story of who you are, where you've been, what you've done, and what's important to you. Bring your scrapbook pages and books, if you have them, plus your pictures and memorabilia. Materials to decorate with will be provided. Two sheets of scrapbooking pages will be provided for each participant and two binders will be raffled off.

Concert on the Green

The grounds at Magnolia Point Golf and Country Club open at 4pm and the concert begins at 8pm. There will be kids activities, local bands, the Air Pegasus Skydiving Team, and more. The featured event will be the performance by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra at 8pm. There will be a fireworks display following the concert. Tickets are $15/adult; $5/student (6 to 17 years of age); children under 5 are free.

Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run

The 5K run will begin at 8am, followed by the 1 mile fun run at 9am. Free entry for the fun run, but you must complete an entry form on race day; entry fees for the 5K range from $10 to $25. There will be awards for all finishers of the fun run. Following the race, there will be live music, bounce house, balloon animals, face painting and more.

Science for Kids

DIY Science program where you can learn how to measure energy used in your home. You can then use these calculations to see where you can make some changes to save money and help save the earth. Participants will be able to borrow a home energy kit for two weeks to do your own experiments at home. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Please bring your adult with you.
